Anyone going to this auction? I wish I was able to attend, but will likely be bidding on a few items online.

So are we still alerting each other of bottles that we intend to bid on to avoid running up prices? There are a lot of great glass bottles in this auction, which is a favorite category of mine.  I intend to get at least one or two of the bottles from the Bloch collection. Probably Lots 427 and 480. Lots 433, 435, and 484 are also potentially on my list.

Which ones are catching your eye?

Also, I have on my calendar that Per Kristensen's bottles are going up for auction on March 25. Does anyone know where?

Brian, where did you hear that Per was selling his bottles?  My last conversation with him gave me the impression that he is very attached to his collection and that there were no thoughts or consideration anytime soon of selling.

Dear Charll,

I understood that he'd divided his collection into 2 parts:
1. to keep
and
2. to sell.
Best,
Joey

Rosanne Chan at the convention in Lisbon had a little display that made mention of it, so I made sure to make a note on my calendar. I haven't been able to find anything referencing it. I'll reach out to Rosanne and see what she says.

I think it may just be some of them, not all.

Brian,

I am also looking at this auction. But I don't collect glass bottles, so the floor is all yours.

Dear Brian,

I've no funds to spend, so I'm out.
Good luck on 19.March 2024.
