Dear all

It is with a heavy heart that I like to inform you of the passing of a dear friend and prominent fellow collector, Mr. Denis Low.

May he rest in peace.

Hi Richard,

I am sorry to hear this sad news.
We twice made arrangements to meet. Both times circumstances prevented it, so in the end we never did meet each other.
Now we never will.

Baruch Dayan Emet. ["Bless {G-D, The} True Judge"].
Inn Bok let me know yesterday, Richard.

Denis was a fine man and I used to tell him that he was a
stereotypical 'Jewish father'; Always generous to his children,
and letting them do as they please. And letting the Tai-tai do any
needed punishments!

His daughter got her Law degree as a Solicitor & Barrister,
but then decided she wanted to be a chef and study under
Heston Blumenthal [The Fat Duck, Heston's, etc].
So Denis invested in Heston's business, and got his daughter
a position to learn from and work with Heston.

My Daddy of blessed memory would have behaved
exactly the same way.
May Denis' memory be for a blessing,
and may his family and we all know no more sorrow.
