John,
It looks like a Native American Eagle totem on its side.
Very nice bottle.
Best,

Joey, I never saw that interpretation. The next bottle is smaller [51mm] and has nice markings. The raised side panels are a nice extra touch. From Bonham's Knightsbridge in 2009.

John,

Another beauty!
Yes, the panels on the narrow sides add a lot.
Wonderful,

Christmas bottle! This example [45mm] with an almost circular pattern is extremely well hollowed. From an internet auction in 2018.

The next example [54mm] has nice fluted carving all around the body. The interior is well hollowed. From an early Butterfield's auction in 2004.

Joey and Richard, thanks for your comments. It does look like a star cluster! The next bottle [57mm] was purchased from a small auction in 2018. The bottle has good provenance, Christie's N.Y.  2-24-1982 lot #306.

The next bottle [70mm] has a more unusual shape. Very well hollowed and with a raised indented footrim. It came with the coral and silver top and the old ivory spoon. From an auction in 2005.

Dear John,

    It is so thin!
I had a problem seeing that the foot was indeed,
a raised indented foot-rim.
But I reread your description, looked carefully,
and saw that it was indeed so.
Best,
Joey

This next example [60mm] is one of the most unusual I have. Each side decoration is a rockwork carving with narcissus springing across the front and back of the bottle. From a small auction in 2012.
