Indeed you did see the Shiwan figure of Bruce Lee at Johnson's gallery!

Shiwan figurines are still in production today and there is also grandmaster craftsman like Liu Ze Mian and many younger artists.

First of all, I know nothing about Shiwan so would like to enquire if this lot in Bonhams is Shiwan?  Huh I don't want to open a can of worms though.

No. That is not from Shiwan.

These are clay figurines (泥塑) which means they may not be fired at all.

In this example, the heads of the figurines are loose and detachable. Hence, you can make them nod by touching them.
