Porcelain cylindrical bottles, underglaze blue and red, with specific "Epaulet" mark.
The Medicine-Snuff Bottle Connection by Raymond Li

(1) Specific Epaulet mark in CRACKED ICE and PLUM FLOWER design.



(2) Specific Epaulet mark in CRACKED ICE, PLUM FLOWER and BAMBOO LEAF design.



(3) Specific Epaulet mark in CRACKED ICE, BAMBOO LEAF TIP and PLUM FLOWER design.
 
Bottles in these first three groupls always have on the base a six character Yung Cheng reign mark (1723 - 1735) but they were all made in the nineteenth century.



(4) Specific Epaulet or "Neck" mark in BAMBOO LEAF or BAMBOO LEAF TIP design.



(5) Specific Epaulet mark in CRACKED ICE and KEY FRET design



(6) Specific Epaulet mark in KEY FRET and CROSS HATCHING design



(7) Specific Epaulet mark in FAN and DIAPER design. This bottle has obviously been handled and used a lot. Evident by the wear on the shoulder edge.



(8 ) Specific FRINGE or pendant trefoil mark on the neck.



(9) Specific SINGLE or DOUBLE CIRCLE just below the mouth of the bottle.



(10) Specific BAT and CLOUD MOTIF design.
