All,

I’m reviving an old Photobucket account and just playing around tonight trying to remember how to use its posting features.

I shared this bottle in the past, but it did not get much attention or comment.  It is small, but functional. About the size of a US Penny.  Well hollowed, but does not have an overly finished interior.  Jade or serpentine stopper with cork and spoon.

The bottle is fossilized limestone, about 18 mm in height by 15 mm wide.  Of course, totally contemporary.

Charll,

Thanks for 're-posting' this bottle. I don't recall seeing it before.
I am intrigued as to who would make such a small bottle, or why. Maybe it was a lapidary's challenge to create the smallest possible bottle.
Who knows.

I do not recall this either...

It reminds me more of a fossilized coral from Indonesia rather than a limestone though..

Cool little bottle Charll Smiley

I did not really realise HOW small, till I found an
American penny in a drawer.
Wow! Really small!
I was going to suggest that it was a 'Lady's Bottle',
but I think it is too small to be one.
Best,
Joey
