My camera does not do this bottle justice.   This is one of those tall narrow IPBs with a birds and floral scene.  Looking to have the script translated if possible.  In looking at this style of script it appears it may be more difficult to read, similar to that of a doctor’s scribble on a prescription pad!?

Thanks for the assistance, Charll

Hi Charll,

Yes, it is not easy to read the script. I try to read some of them.

The title must be "Shuang Qi Tu" (drawing of a couple of birds perching).
The title of back side is "Qiu Yun" (autumn sound).
The date seems to be "ding hai" (2007 autumn)
I can not read the artist name.

I wish somebody to help.

Cheers,

Misu

Misu,

Thank you so much. Your command of Chinese must be pretty darn good if you can read any portion of the script on this bottle.  Foreign languages has never been one of my strong suits.  I envy your abilities in this area.  The help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks Misu,

Your chinese skill is better than my english skill:)

I think Misu is right about the inscription, just add a little bit more..

Front side, 双栖图,岁在丁亥年秋月雅茹作. ( Drawing of a double birds perching, painted by Ya Ru in the  autumn of  2007)
Back side,秋韵,丁亥年雅茹作( Autumn sound, or the the rhythem of the autumn, painted by Ya Ru)

I am not so sure about the character "茹" because the handwriting is not that good as the painting.

Steven

Hi Steven,

Thanks for your input which is quite informative for me to improve my skill to read hand-writing Chinese characters.

Charll,

"Canon Word Tank" is my good supporter to read Chinese characters. With it sometimes my guess reaches to correct
 reading. Just for your information.

Cheers,

Misu
