Any way... Wanted to share this beautiful little bottle..

Going to try and get this one even though carved figure type bottles are not my cup of tea, this one is just to darn cute ! Lots of work went into creating this one..

Did you get the first one, $110.00 is not a bad price at all, even the craving itself will worth that price.

This one is cute too, it seems that it is older than the first one( I am just guessing:) and well hollowed. Smiley

No, I did not.. As much as I wanted to bid more on it, I just have to keep on track with my desired IP bottles..

Yes, it was a great price..

I totally agree with you about this being older.. It looks really well hollowed to me too.

Hi George,

The high gloss surface bugs me, it looks so plastic to me, It might be because the lighting, but I don't really like it much.

very cute indeed.Smiley

But the price seems a little bit high for its quality , I don't think it will go anyway with the high reserved price.

Although not as elaborate as previous ones posted, these polychrome painted monkeys are cute little guys..

Qianlong Nian Zhi mark, painted 1940's, and not later than 1949..

Dear George,

Very cute. Maybe this pair is the cuter version of this Fuzhou Lacquer Monkey

Dear George,
What do you base the 1940s dating of the two monkeys on? I would have dated them late 20th/early 21st C., and not later than 2015...  Grin
Best,
Joey

I would totally agree with Joey on the dating. Tongue the Mark appear to be a typical 21th Mark.
