Something a little different to share  Smiley

The image was not blown up enough to show all the detailed inlay. I had to use a magnifying glass to really appreciate it..

Described as an iron bottle.. Must have been a real job to set the inlay !

George, It is a really beautiful example of damascened ware, but not of great age.  Jerry L. has a bottle which is very good as well, and also at least 150 + years old. Best, Shabbat Shalom, Joey

George,
    None of us can ever have EVERYTHING we want; even George Bloch never got every bottle he wanted.
It looks like you've many great bottles. Enjoy them, and enjoy the hunt for more treasures, but don't pine after the ones that got away. What's done is done.
   That's how I look at the bottles I sold in 1991-1993 via Clare Lawrence (now Clare Chu), that I would have preferred to have kept.
