Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol, mmm...

I happen to like Roy a lot.  The office I used to work had a 150 feet mural by him.  I find his works humorous and fun most of the time.  Whether they are worth 2mm or not is up to argument.  To be quite frank, I do not even think Monet is worth 2mm.  But I guess that is because I do not have 2mm to buy art!

Andy Warhol is totally attention whore.  He himself said as such, just can't understand why people can't see through the joke.

Hi  Walter

VERY  interesting  that  you picked    up  on this  minor   feed

I  subscribe  to   www.artdaily.com     -  probably  THE  best    free   website  in the   world , which  is   where  I  saw   these  Roy Lichtenstein  pics   for the  first   time   (  SUBSCRIBE !    Free  /  NO   spam  )

Graphically  - they  are  kids   stuff

But   somehow   they  hold  one's  attention   in a  very   weird  way  -  magnetic ?     way    , especially  the    one  about  "there's  no-one  in the   room"

Cheers

Peter

I have very little time for Western art, and none for most abstract or Modern Western art.
Give me Chinese, Japanese or even Korean art, any day.
