The snuff bottle painting tour invited Italian Galileo Center director Mattia Bellomi, Chongqing Jialing Motorcycle LTD mechanic engineer Michelle, Li Jing from Chongqing International Women Community and her family, Chongqing Currents foreign editor Alex Middleton and 10 other foreigners. During the tour, the snuff bottle painting master Han Huantao performed the traditional art of inside bottle painting. After the event, Mr. Mattia said: “Snuff bottle painting is breathtaking and definitely one of the treasures in the intangible cultural heritages in Chongqing. But it’s a shame we didn’t have more time to linger and I wish next time I could take my time and enjoy this great art. Also I hope such events can be held more often and more successfully.”
