Dear Tom,

     For Amber, they are 'very nicely' carved, but not 'superbly' carved. It is a very soft material.
     In the late 1980s, I got another bottle, almost identical to the one that Adrian bought recently, but with really superbly carved, extremely ornate taotie.

    On another subject, have you heard of the two collectors one Greek and the other Greek-British, who Georges mentions?
I'd not, till he gave their names.
