Dear collectors,

I'm happy to show my first inside painted snuff bottle, It is made by Yong Shou Tian. It is not a very rare old bottle, but is mine Smiley. It is a typical painting of this artist, showing warriors among mountains.

Best,
Albert.

Congrats Albert!

Once you have one IPSB, you're bound to covet more!
I like the warrior themed bottles too.  There have been many a thread on the Forum about Yong Shoutian's work and this may be from his student, or some speculate, Liu Qiao.  Either way, nice one!  I like the color and shape.  How tall is it?

Cheers,

Rube.

Dear Albert,

Congratulations. A nice example. And at least a genuine Middle Period bottle.
Best,
Joey

Hi Albert,

A nice buy as your first Middle period bottle. I did add something to one post on Yong Shoutian's bottles about the differences between his work and the student bottles signed as by him as I have one of each but I can't recall which was which without refreshing myself on the subject  Huh

Regards, Adrian.

Dear Rube,
you did ask how tall is the bottle.
It is evident, about a half meter, or 20 inches😊 Grin Grin
Dear Albert, seriously speaking now, it is essential to resize the pictures before posting, the ideal size is about 800 pixels. If the image is too big, it is almost impossible to have a correct idea.
Kind regards
Giovanni

Yes, I felt that way too, after tapping on the photos!
Best,
Joey

Dear Giovanni,

In reference to the size of the picture, I know that the first one is too big, but are the others also too big? I don't remember the chosen size, butI can see them very well on my screen.
Are they still too big for your?

Best,
Albert,

Dear Albert, yes, the longest side is 1800 pixels, and because it is the vertical one, it is bigger than the vertical side of the monitors.
Kind regards
Giovanni

Dear Albert,

The lighting in your photos if fine. There is no need to take new photos, just re-size the existing ones.  Wink
