I haven't noticed this subject coming up on any bottles before so am looking for some help in understanding the meaning of it.

It looks like there is a God like figure floating on a bat with nine people offering different gifts to him, a few of them standing in trees to possibly get closer.

I can't make out all the gifts but there is a gourd, a flute, a scroll and two separate peaches. Each individual gift would have some meaning so it may be that whoever was receiving the bottle was being wished everything possible. What is unusual is it is the God like figure who is being offered everything as opposed to the receiver of the bottle.

Any help would be welcomed.

Regards, Adrian.

Dear Adrian,

It looks like a genuine mid-19th C. bottle, but the subject matter is odd.
It looks to me like he is riding a bat - those look like bat wings.
Best,
Joey

Dear Adrian,
what an interesting bottle you have there. Thank you for showing.
It seems to me that I have already seen somewhere a personage on a bat, but I am not sure.
