Master Lee is quite a chatty and funny guy.... I met him once in Singapore and he told us that his tools for painting include his wife hair blower sometime... (trying to fixed the effect of the running water by drying it faster....  Grin)

The bird is a Kingfisher Rube.... their bright blue feathers are sometime used to decorate hair pin in olden days... Chinese is 翠鸟
