I had a chance to see some inside painted bottles by a inside painted artist Chao Jianlong邵建龙 recently. and impressed by his creativity on painting bottle in quartz bottles with inclusion. I have seen some other artists have done similar bottles, but his creativity amazed me by cooperating the painting and inclusion so well.

I am not gonna talk too much about his bottles, let the bottles talk themselves. I wish that you can enjoy them as I do. I will post more if you like the bottles.

Enjoy!

Steven

BTW, Chao is a disable artist, and he is a student of Lu jianguang.

I am so glad that George and Rube you all like them as I do.

-George, the price of the bottle by modern artists are pretty open. but those bottles by Chao are really not cheap at all, it tooks a lot of creativity to paint those bottles, and sometimes the artists will be involved in how to make the empty bottle.  as I know all the bottles are $2000.00 to $3000.00 range. But they are all one of a kind, not easy to be copied with the quartz inclusion are part of the painting.

Cheers!

Steven

Hi Steven,

Wonderful, and inspired use of the inclusions as you say.

This one by Aiqi was offered to me, but had no idea it would be 5000 ! The calligraphy is nice, but gosh... Aside from the calligraphy which I like, the scene on the front is not so special..

Dear George,

I don't think that is the best example of Aiqi's work, and I don't really like the bottle as well. also the price is way to high for me based on the quality of the work.

Cheers!

I'm, a fish lover so that would be my first choice. However the Camels and the Eagle run it pretty close.

Regards Jason.

Dear Steven,

If Jason is not buying the Fish bottle, I'm interested in it.
However, our Holiest day starts in less than 2 1/2 hrs.
Yup, Yom Kippur is here again!  Roll Eyes Shocked Wink

So if you could let me know if it is available, after  12:00noon your time on Saturday. I will be closing my computer in 2 hrs. till that same time.
Best to everyone for the Day of Atonement,
I will be praying for everyone to be forgiven their bad deeds (with us, any evil deeds can't be dealt with so easily; but G-D Willing, none of us has any).

Dear Joey,

I too like the fish the best. Wink and I was trying to buy from him, but its on other collector's shelf  already. Cry

May we be lucky next time.Smiley

Here I am sharing a couple more his bottles since many people like them.

I like the creativity of the water fall, but the colors are a  little too much..

Enjoy!

Steven

Steven,

These are wonderful as well, though the pics are a little big to view.
Thanks so much for sharing these! I love the artists who use the crystal's and mineral's own characteristics to help dictate their final design,
just like Michelangelo used to do, fabulous!

Cheers,

But that 'fish swimming' bottle really is a stunner.
