Guys, our phone and internet service has degraded so badly where we live that we are actually making plans to move in November..

The few early am hours that it does work only lasts a short time..

Tom... If you read this... The adding of your Mongolian article is going to have to wait.. Photos and photo downloads are not working...

Really difficult....

No problem George.

I hope you get your connectivity sorted out soon. Moving home for better internet reception sounds a bit drastic. Have you explored switching service provider, or going via a satellite connection?

Hi George,

I truly understand what you're enduring. Internet's become part and parcel of our life these days that our life is simply messed up if an issue occurs with the internet connection.

I do hope you will manage to find a solution alternative to moving your home.

Good luck,
Samson

Yes indeed we have checked... Their is no other internet service including satellite in our area.. There is a new local provider, but they are charging 2000.00 to hook up...

Dear George,

Sorry to hear that. US$2,000 to hook up?! Are they crazy? Why would it be so high?
Is there no way to hook up via satellite, as Tom asked?
I was having similar issues in Ireland, and got service via satellite and my SKY TV dish antenna. If such an antenna costs only 250 Euros in Ireland, surely it is even cheaper in the USA.
But I'm sure you know your own area.
Good luck with the move.
Best,
Joey

It's crazy.. No satellite services offered for us at all.. We have had a couple of local providers actually come out to the house and test to see if their satellite service works.. Nothing..

We are stuck with unstable Verizon wireless for now..
