Hi Cathy,

Did the seller specifically describe it as "white" jade? As you have no doubt observed from top end auctions the truly WHITE and unblemished snuff bottles sell for 3-4 times the price of their 'off white' counterparts.

Irrespective of that, I agree that the pale celadon colour looks 'more authentic' on your purse bottle. The shape and carving both appear 'right' to my eye. A fine looking example. Congratulations!
