Do you mean this subject matter?
Because I would date and attribute your 'little begging puppy' Nephrite to the same period and source (ie., ca.1760-1800 and Palace Workshops). So, in a way, you already have "one of this kind" in your collection.

Dear Steven,

I look forward to seeing your "little begging puppy" nephrite bottle. It must be cute and lovely! Roll Eyes

Best,
Samson

Dear Samson,

May it be the first of many Nephrites!
Best,
Joey

Dear Joey,

We have a saying in Chinese called "承你貴言" (Cheng Ni Gui Yan) which sort of means "May it come true as you have wished me"... So, Cheng Ni Gui Yan! Grin

Best,
Samson

P.S. By the way, who are Rodney and Dell Boy? Huh

Dear Steven,

May G-D Grant you and all my other friends on the Forum, all the best buys of great snuff bottles!

Del Boy & Rodney are from the hit BBC series, "Only Fools and Horses". They are shady market stall traders in the Cockney area of London, and always trying to trick people and try to get rich quick. Of course, they always lose, because they outsmart themselves.
And Del Boy always talks about 'the punters' (the customers, but in the sense of 'the marks who can be cheated).

   Best,
Joey

Dear Samson,

What a beauty to look at ! 恭喜你 !
What is the size of the jade bottle ?

I also find it quite challenging to photograph white bottles.

Tom,

Thanks for the tip. I must try it as you suggest when I go back to Singapore .
