Luck is on your way George. Wink

It's a poem by Tang poet Wang Wei. I found the following English translation somewhere on the internet:

《田園樂》

桃红复含宿雨,柳绿更带朝烟。
花落家童未扫,莺啼山客犹眠。

High Plateau

The peaches’ red holds the night’s rain,
The willows’ green is wrapped in spring mist.
Blossoms fall, the house boy has not swept them yet.
Orioles sing, the mountain guest is still asleep.

Best,
Samson

Can we see the other side please George?

I'd like to see how it matches the poem.

Thanks George, nice bottle.

But I can't see any Orioles - they are yellow.
Maybe they meant OREOs - seems quite a few of them just outside the house.

Did someone mention 'Oreos'? I love 'Oreo Cookies'!  Grin Roll Eyes

I think it's that old poetic licence thing again...

I was a little worried because of the pics that the size and shape of this bottle was going to be similar to post 1950's tourist bottle.. But turned out to be a nice flat, rectangular at 2 5/8"... So really pleased..

I think safe to say Shandong ..
