Greetings,

If my hunch is right, this another Ye Zhongsan bottle?  It's my aunt's and I was hoping to get help with
the translation and date?  I have been looking at the Moss publication on the Apricot Grove Studio and this subject
matter looks almost identical to no. 75/ 75a.  This bottle measures 2 7/16".  Any help is greatly appreciated!

Cheers,

Rheuben

Hi Rheuben,

I can't help you with the bottle, as I don't collect inside painted ones.

But you 'sideways' photos stay lying sideways, as they did with your earlier post, which others claimed righted themselves when enlarged.

To get them to turn right side up (actually left side up!) I have to do what Peter complained about before - download the image files onto my pc, then open from there in a photo program.

Sorry for the complaint - didn't want to start your topic off on this note...   Sad

Dear Rheuben,

It's dated Yichou year 1925. The subject is one Ye often repeated. Nice one!

I have to say Ye Zhongsan's bottles are some of the easiest to recognize. His style is very distinctive.

Best,
Samson

Another beauty...

I agree with Samson about being easy to ID... Even from a good distance...

Congratulations !

Dear Samson, Pin and George,

Thanks for the response regarding this bottle.  I like this one too, such a happy theme, and my aunt will be happy to learn the date it was painted.

Cheers,

Rheuben.
