Very understated bottle Samson!  Congrats!  The collar would bother me though.... it is almost as if it was glued on to the cab in reverse either by accident or on purpose.

UPDATED: never mind my comment on the collar.  Just noticed how it is beveled... never seen anything like it!

I have one like this (slightly over 2") I showed to Joey who confirmed it early 1800s but quite a bit lighter grey in color. The lip has a slight damage and I need to get it polished out at some point. How tall is yours?  Can we see the mouth?
