I bought a few new stone bottles and these are my two favorites. I bought a little wood stand to display some snuffs and these two are amongst those going on it. One is "fun" because it is so small, the other because it is a pendant.

One is a miniature sodalite bottle with a very high gloss finish and oddly, a lapis lazuli (not sodalite) stopper with a hand shaped spoon.  It measures just a hair over 1.5" high without the stopper and approximately 1.75" tall with the stopper. It's got a very nice taper from top to bottom and a lovely shape IMO. It's so tiny I love it!

The elephant with rings is of a consistently mottled and visually pleasing lapis lazuli, but not as dark as the highest quality lapis. (The stopper is a higher quality darker lapis, but one of the rings is darker as well, so I think it is OK that the color isn't quite the same; it is a gently squared shape, made to match the bottle design.) It's a well-carved snuff IMO, with an easily removable 14K finding attached so it can be worn as a pendant. The top swivels so you can still remove the stopper, and actually, the entire finding looks like it can be removed easily because of the way the gold twisted rings slip into a closure, but I don't think I'll try lest I loosen it and find it is not as secure for wearing afterwards.
