This was a buy it now with out of focus pics. So did not know what to expect for the paintings. 

It was really more this hand blown, 3 1/8" flattened rectangular shape with low sloping shouldered bottle that made me hit the buy it now..

Turns out that the not so badly painted 100 children playing theme is indeed completely painted without any photo enhancement. 

The year appears to be Ping-Tzu, but not sure about being 1936 or 1996. If someone can make out the artist's name it could help decide between the two.  Actually it would be great to know the entire script  Wink

Dear George,

     I'm a 'Fire Rooster', and my 60th birthday is in March.
1986 was the last year of the 'Fire Tiger'; before that, it was 1926.
There is a problem here - either it is 1996 or 1986.
