I was looking through the book Chinese Inside Painting of the Modern Age and came across something interesting. On page 47 there is a vase painted with colorful warriors very much like the ones we've been talking about that are currently attributed to Yong Shoutian.
The artist is Xue Jingwan, 1893-1987
I also think the bottle shown there of a woman is very similar to Liu Qiao's style.
However, I cannot seem to find any other bottles attributed to this artist, and need more to compare.
Does anyone have Xue Jingwan bottles to share, or can they point me in the direction of more of his work?

The only other references I could find to Xue Jingwan from a couple of websites:

They claim he was the first to use a brush instead of a bamboo pen.

For those not familiar with the search box at top right of forum..

Many times you can simply type in key words like, Xue Jingwan, and will find an archived topic..
