Dear Members,

I am wondering if there is anything of interest here or late 20th Century tourist bottles.

Thank you

Brian

Hi Brain,

I kind of like the first one better, which is a shandong 40s -60s bottle. I actually still own a couple of similar ones.
The 2nd one is well painted and appealing  as well ,but not my taste .
The 3rd one is the oldest one ,but I dont like the painting.

Thanks Steven. How old you think the last one is? It kind of looks like a Bi Rongiu imitation to me.

Dear Brian,

I personally feel that the last one resembles Yong Shoutian more...

Best,
Samson

P.S. That's an interesting stopper!

Hi Brian,

The last one is a Liu Qiao - I would bet my entire collection that it is.
If it's cheap enough, it is at least a listed artist - albeit a very low grade one. I have three of his works.

You can read more about him on the Liu Qiao thread here:
http://snuffbottle.smfforfree.com/index.php/topic,3203.0.html

I found the listing on ebay and the person is asking way too much (IMO)
The most I've paid for a non warrior bottle is $100 (and that was with a really good top)
You can see it here:
