Hello friends!

I'm from Barcelona and I like a lot to collect snuff bottles; Nowaday I'm thinking in buying a new item, but I don't sure If it is old or not, can you help me?

I am not sure of this one Albert, but I think quite modern. The leaf appears wrong too.. One of our porcelain experts will have to help further if I am mistaken.

I would only add that condition is everything, so the chipped enamel could be an issue.

Dear Albert,

     It is NOT old, don't trust that the seller will tell you the truth, unless the seller is your mother, and if you want to buy it, don't pay more than 10 Euros.

when I want to buy anothers snuff bottle I first show the pictures to you, because after you tell me I think tha these are really old, becase have some cracks.

Dear Albert,
   
     That one, even with the cracks, was not old. But if it is damaged, even if old, it has low value, because of the poor condition.
 
     Soft Paste porcelain has cracks as part of the material, but they DON'T hurt the value, unless they were caused by damage.

     Buy books, or acess material online, to learn more before you spend unwisely.
Or post the bottles on the Forum. we are always happy to look at bottles, as long as they are well photographed.
