Hmmmm... Now I am double guessing myself..

Not so sure the mountains are in his style.. Yet the Lotus certainly appear to be his work..  Not saying the seal is not his either, but I just am having a hard time matching it up to known ones..

Look forward to hearing what others think..

The script reminds me of early Yan Yutian (1888-1890) of which I posted a bottle somewhere here signed ZLY in a similar way.  For sure not Le San...

That really makes sense Pat.. As the lotus are his style as well.. A bit uncertain about the signature and script for ZLY..

Hi George :

The first 2 character is the year..... the earth cow....1889 (most likely) and its painted in the winter mth (The next 2 character)

What is more interesting is after that.... 榮古山房 (Rong Gu Shan Fang) which is an art studio name.... if you search in the web... there's is really an art studio selling some root carving, antiques, rice wine that exist..... hahahaha  Grin

I am not sure if its LeSan or Yan YuTian, but most likely one of the artists. I like the side with the lotus painting.... the landscape is ok but I feel that the top is too empty. If there's some calligraphy or a flock of geese flying past, that will balance up the painting.

This is Yan Yutian style guys ... All over it . Trying to locate the bottle I was referring to. It is a rock crystal with an internal fissure and dated 1888 or 1889. Same calligraphy same style of writing.
