There seems to be some interest in this, I thought I would share some photos. I know the trick that makes a floater a floater. They can come in all kinds of shapes. They are often agate. They are thought to be more rare. Maybe.

Hi Monkongmee,
"I know the trick that makes a floater a floater": you are not the only one that know this. Archimedes explained it to all us about 2200 years ago Grin Grin
Kind regards

of course. I did not say I only knew it. But I know very old snuff bottle craftsmen in China and have seen them do it. My interest expanded beyond buying bottles. I have been inside both small and large factories. Several people have evolved into making the finest bottles you could imagine today. Knowing and seeing is different. I know only by seeing, not by putting them in a glass of water.
