Hello Everyone

My name is Uma Chatterjee and I have joined the forum as a new member. My main interest is collecting antiques and now I am fascinated by snuff bottles and have slowly started acquiring a few. Many thanks to all members for the interesting threads in the archives. I am enjoying reading the information in the threads and hoping to learn from them.

I have also been a member on Gotheborg Discussion Board the last couple of years and enjoy reading the various threads posted in that forum.

Hello Uma,

Warm welcome!
Please feel free to post some of your bottles so all of us can learn from it too.
Snuff Bottles is made only in the last four centuries so subjects mentioned in this forum are cosier and easily related as compared to other Chinese antiques.

Thank you, I live in Christchurch, New Zealand. I moved to New Zealand  from India about  17yrs ago. Hong Kong is very nice, I only passed through mainly on transit while flying to India once. Usually for some reason or the other we end up transiting through Singapore.

Queenstown is a lovely place. I am in Nelson at the moment checking out the antique shops down here. I do support the All Blacks Smiley but sadly I am not a rugby fan.
