Dear Tom,

No worries. It is always easy to blame the Brits.
Makes a refreshing change from blaming the Jews!  Wink Roll Eyes
Shalom (I return home to Jerusalem tomorrow),
Best,
Joey

Dear YT,

I misunderstood. I was looking at already existing Asian members of the ICSBS, while, if I understand correctly, you are referring to all the Asian NON-members who are buying up snuff bottles, and want to use THEM as a 'carrot' to tempt the ICSBS to have the convention; and then the ICSBS will use the Taipei convention to lure in these Asian buyers/collectors.
THAT'S INGENIOUS!
Best,
Joey
Dear Joey,

I am flattered but I did have some idea like this just not so Ingenious.

This will be a good idea to build up the membership.
I like your idea of the rotating table and sharing bottle. My question is how many Asian collectors will let others touch their bottle. Denis for one do not like that.

Hope your flight was smooth.

Cheers,
YT

Dear YT,

I just arrived after an uneventful trip - the best kind according to my late mother! - and found the Chicago convention material waiting for me.

It lists the designated convention venues for the next 4 years:
2015 Chicago, 27-31.Oct.
2016 Los Angeles, 1-5.Nov.
2017 London UK
2018 Baltimore, MD (50th anniversary of ICSBS)

So from 2019 we have a chance.
Best,
A tired but happy Joey

Dear resting Joey,

That's good news. 2019 will be a good time to go Asia then.

50th anniversary will be a good time to enjoy the convention.

Cheers,
YT
