Dear Niccolò,

It looks a very nice bottle to me, Most of moulded porcelains were made from Mid Qing to the republic period, In order to date the bottle, we might need some sharper images plus a couple of additional photos for mouth and base rim,  The detail of the bottle is the key to ID this kind of bottle.

But overall it looks good to me based on the photos you have.

Thank you Steven,
here are some details of the snuff bottle. Sorry, the quality of the pics is quite poor.
The bottle was certainly acquired prior to 1924, when my family moved from China to Italy.

Dear Niccolò,
I agree with Steven, the bottle is of good quality. These bottles are found in average quality and top quality too. Your one is not top quality but a good one, over the average. I like the background color.
Kind regards
Giovanni

Wonderful bottle Nicollo'..

Steven and Giovanni have both already shared their expert opinions, so just to add my two cents worth..

The colors look right, the mark appears good, and there seems to be wear of the enameling as would be expected.

How tall is it Nicollo ?

Great bottle and thanks for sharing it !

Good question, George.

I noticed that the earlier Moulded bottles tend to be a little bit smaller( let say 2" -2.5") while the newer ones are more likely bigger(around 3").

BTW, the Mark looks really good.

Dear Nicollo,

It is a very well kept piece with the gold gilding still very much intact.
The apocryphal QianLong mark is quite straight too. I would vote it as 19th.

Cheers,
YT

Yes, it would be a huge plus if the bottle is in the 2" range..

Dear all,
thank you for the precious information.
The bottle is 7 cm (2,75 in). Which dating would you suggest?

Dear Niccolo,

The bottle is in extremely good condition. But the quality of work does not suggest it was made recently. I would date it to around mid 19th century.
