I have just started collecting within the past few months by buying a few bottles here and there. My first purchases were from a local estate. Below are pictures of 2 of them. The quality seemed very good and genuine. I've tried to somewhat translate the script but haven't been very successful. I would like to learn more about the artists if anyone is able to assist.

I like the dog paintings very much...

Will let someone who can translate help you with the script.. Sure looks like the script could have been done by the same person on all the bottles.. Even the butterfly bottle..

Hi Mathew,

Welcome to the Forum, and you got a good start.

Both bottles are real painted inside bottles.

The first one could be a student practise bottle with a common scene. The inscript can be read" England Cocker, painted in1994" on Side A, and " England miguel , painted in 1994". I am not so familiar with Dog breeds , it sound like it. Maybe someone can correct me if I am wrong.

The second one also can be a student bottle.

the inscripts are same on both sides." Painted in the winter of 1986"

Dear Matthew,

The first dog bottle only have it's date drawn and has no name stated.
The second butterfly bottle has the artist signed as Dong Yue.

The Chinese experts here will be able to fill the gaps for some of the other characters.

Cheers,
YT

Great information! Thank You so much!

I'm glad I at least purchased authentic bottles for my first go-around.    Cheesy

The details are quite good on both but I think the dog bottle has really great quality for probably being a student bottle. Any idea what school these could be from?
