Has anyone else received an email notification from Arts of Asia?
Apparently their latest issue has a feature article on newly acquired snuff bottles from the Denis Low collection.

They also list out all the back issues still in stock featuring snuff bottles.

Yes Tom.
Denis has been planning this since last year and showcases his recent few years catch.

I must contact Arts of Asia, to get it. And I requested some back issues from Nguyet Tuyet, but never received them.
I must say, Denis Low is one of the serious collectors I most admire. As a person and as a collector.
Best,
  Joey

Hi,

Has anyone seen the Spring Issue of Arts of Asia with the Denis Low Collection? How was it - worth getting a copy?

Another snuff bottle article is coming up in the September-October 2015 issue:

"Please find attached the Contents page for the Arts of Asia September-October 2015 issue.

I wanted to share this with you as we are so delighted to present these wonderful articles for our international readers to enjoy. The magazine comes out in mid-August.

Thank you very much for your support and hope you are having a wonderful summer.

Very best wishes,

Robin

Robin Markbreiter
Managing Director/Executive Editor"

It looks like only a two-pager from Clare Chu.

Dear Tom,

I believe the 2-pager by Clare will be in the ICSBS journal too.

As for the article on Denis Low's collection. It is on 50 snuff bottles that he has collected from 2010 to 2014 with the world record priced Enamel on Glass painted European Ladies as focused. I believe a copy worth keeping.

Cheers,

George,

That is terrible. Did they not offer to correct their mistake, and send you the issue you ordered? When I once visited their office I found the staff to be very friendly.

Dear YT,

Thanks for the heads up. I will try and order a copy of the April-May issue. After hearing about George's experience, I hope they get it right.

I have not bothered to ask.. The cost of return mailing does not justify going through the hassle..

George,

I have this 1993 catalog. It is not quite as good as Dennis** Crow's other snuff bottle catalogs of 1994 and 1995, because it includes jewelry and other items in addition to bottles. But definitely worth $12.50. I paid $19.00 for mine many years ago. It's an excellent reference guide.

Tom

** Ebay listing says David, but his name is Dennis.
