Hello,
I know all inside painted snuff bottles are not signed, but I have one with tigers I really love, it has a red seal but no signature. Do you think it is possible to find the artist just with a seal ? I am curious about it.

Dear Camille,

A very nice bottle you got over there, as I know 80% good inside painted bottles will be signed and dated, except the later 60s -early 70s bottles.

The seal on your bottle looks like a artist personal seal, but I really can't tell whose seal its, normally it could be artist's first name or last name, sometime its a studio seal or just a decoration seal.

Thank you for you replies. I took some pictures of the snuff bottle with the tigers. I don't know if it is an old one but I find the drawing beautiful. How can they be so skilled ??

Its not so old, it should be a later 20th bottle.

关于内花瓶内的签名和印章。您如果了解中国绘画就可以理解了。一般都是作者的姓名或是书房的斋号等等。
