Oh the perils of online buying!  I recently spied a listing for an inexpensive  "snuff bottle" that I thought would look great in jewelry design.  It appeared to be cloisonné panels inset into imitation cinnabar. As there was no other description, I naturally expected a small bottle of perhaps 2". Imagine my puzzlement when the "snuff" arrived in a great big box and turned out to actually be a nearly 7" by 5" vase made to look like a snuff bottle, complete with a blue enamel interior, brass foot and rim, and cloisonné panels.  It's actually pretty nice IMO  and will look great in my living room. But not around my neck.

I saw this one ...

Even though it is very modern, I had never seen this combination of resin and cloisonne before..

Pretty bottle ..

It looks quite well made. If only you could shrink it slightly!

Dear Ilene,
It actually looks quite attractive. Enjoy it on a shelf in your sitting room.
Or, it might suit a flamboyant  Sumo Wrestler as a pendant! Any of those on your client lists?  Cheesy
Best,
  Joey

Hi  Joey

Since you  mentioned   the  Eurovision   song  contest....  and  you  like   cross-cultural  jokes   Wink

Or   check  youtube :  Spike  Milligan : Eurojokes (Eurovision Song Contest Piss Take).

 Cheesy

Cheers

Peter

PS:  The   funniest  thing  about   Spike  Milligan  is that  he  cannot  help   laughing  at his  own  jokes !

He  was   one  of  the  all-time  classic  comedians -  and  unique  in  his  own  way

On his  tombstone  it  is  inscribed  (in Gaelic) :  " I  told  you  I was  ill !"

If you  remember  Dr  Who and  the  Daleks (and  you  have  an  open mind  about  cross-cultural  fun )
check out   Youtube  "Spike  Milligan Pakistani  Daleks"

PPS:  What this  has to  do  with  snuff bottles  I  really  don't  know ! But  it's  fun to  laugh  at  ourselves

Dear Peter,
I loved the Eurovision skit, but the Dalek one didn't do it for me.
Best,
