Dear George,

That is "Qian Long Nian Zhi", made in the year of emperor Qian Long.

The iron red mark looks good too.

Cheers,

George,
In that case, photograph the symbols face on, so we can see them without distortion. They look like the kind of stylised lozenges one sees around the base or neck of vessels, but to make a better guess/call, I'd need to see the design face on...
Best,
Joey

As soon as it arrives, will do Joey..  The one and only face on shot I have really distorts those enamel symbols...

Dear George,
this motif is very common, especially on vases of the 19th century, but it can be seen also on vases of the Qianlong period. I don't know its exact name, may be it is some sort of stylized lotus leaves? I don't know.
Anyway, if you have bought that vase as Qianlong, I am sorry to say that it doesn't look so to me, at least by this picture.
If you whish, you could send me the other pictures.
Kind regards
Giovanni

Giovanni,

The item George has posted is a snuff bottle recently sold at auction.  Upon viewing provided photos before the auction and as based on the observed condition, design, and use of enamels, I thought the bottle was early (1st quarter) 20th century.

Dear Charll,
thank you, that fits perfectly. I thougth it was a vase, and since YT said that the mark looks good, I understood that it was referred to a Qianlong vase.
Kind regards
Giovanni
