It looks good Pin..

Remembering that Ye Zhongsan died the year this bottle was painted in 1945, and I do not believe there are any records of his works between 1943, and 1945. Even though there were only two family members painting during this time, Ye Xiaofeng, and Ye Bengqi, it is still hard to attribute paintings to either during these years.

But you can certainly at least attribute this one to the Ye Family studio..

Thanks George and Joey ..

For some reason, I tot that the calligraphy is not the usual fluid movement as compared to other bottles (and I can only compare pictures to pictures.... Never yet have a chance to see a real Ye family bottle).... That's why I ask...

But at least after a few mths of staring at pictures... I start to see a tiny little light at the end of the tunnel.....

Thanks a lot for your help

Dear Pin,
Come to Israel, and I can show you 16 Ye Zhongsan the Elder and 18 Ye Family examples, live.
I'll even throw in 28 Zhou Leyuan, and 24 Ma Shaoxuan too. And 7 Ding Erzhong...
I have 159 Middle Period and 7 Early Period bottles, in my collection here in Jerusalem, as well as 142 Modern Period examples.
   Best,
     Joey

Dear Pin,
    You will be most welcome.
But I don't have a museum, just a nice home. I don't display my snuff bottles, like Peter does. YF Yang taught me to keep them in boxes, and make the effort to take them out and look at them. He told me that this was how traditional Chinese Literati collectors treated their treasures...
My home is decorated like a typical Western home (IE, with too much STUFF on display, so it is hard to take in!  Grin); but with my snuff bottles, I try to cultivate a Literati style modesty, as Mr. Yang, my master and teacher, taught me.
   Best,
    Joey

Dear YT,
Thank you, but you must realise I've been collecting antique inside painted since June 1981, when I got a Gan Xuan for US$90, and a Zhou Leyuan on clear glass for US$147 at an auction in London!
I am not that good at identifying bottles over the Internet; much better for me 'live'.
 Best,
    Joey
