For anyone who hasn't got this book, it is a very useful addition to any library on Chinese scholarly arts and collectibles. I can recommend it.

It has a really low estimate of US$30. I paid US$150 for my copy 15 years ago!

I actually bought it for about CAD$30 from an arts bookshop in Toronto, which dealt in remaindered books. Then the shipping to Israel was about CAD$60...  Grin  Big heavy book.

Sounds like another 'must have' book. Collecting books are expensive too.

Dear YT,
Not really. it is a nice adjunct book, but not central to a snuff bottle library. If you also collect scholarly objects (like brush rests, water droppers, fans, wrist wrests, ink-stones, ink blocks, brush pots, brushes, etc. [and there is a lot of 'etc'!]), it would definitely be a must-have book, though.
