The late Robert Kleiner's book on the George & Mary Bloch Collection, 1987 (I think) is also very good.

This is one on my list, but not cheap !

Brad, you can see most of the books I have found really useful here.. http://snuffbottle.smfforfree.com/index.php/board,19.0.html

A couple not shown that just received are, The Meriem Collection,, Important Chinese Snuff Bottles Part ll, The Hildegard Shonfeld Collection, and Important Chinese Snuff Bottles from the Jand J Collection, part V.

Never enough books !

I am always looking for more interesting books.. Also think I have pretty much all the Arts of Asia magazines with snuff bottle articles.. Also have several, but not nearly the amount some members have for the International Chinese Snuff Bottle Society journals ( ICSBS ).

Hi Brad,

George's link might be a bit overwhelming....!
I suggest you try a "search by author" on http://www.abebooks.com, using the following authors:

Robert Kleiner
Hugh Moss
Victor Graham
Ka Bo Tsang
Bob Stevens
Lilla Perry

And don't forget to type 'snuff' in the "keyword" window!

This will direct you to some of the BEST BOOKS on snuff bottles.  Cheesy

Old auction catalogues are also good, to give you a feel for the market, but I recommend you stick to books to start with.

Tom
