Although not a snuff bottle, I believe it to be jade and am thinking of purchasing it..

Just not absolutely sure it is jade.. Can not say have seen a jade quite like it..

Help ?

Difficult to tell without handling it. It looks like jade, but the orange area appears to be caused by oxidation from the metal part screwed into the top.

What's the size of it?

What's the size of it?

It is a little less than 1" tall, not including the screw top..

The only dimensions given are for the width, 3/4, and thickness, 3/8"

Part of me thinks there is a chance it is glass imitating because I think can see the metal body beneath..  Those straight lines ?

The lines look like the threads of a screw. Jade is semi-translucent, so the fact that you can see the screw doesn't automatically mean it's glass.
Bubbles, on the other hand.....  Wink

But I don't see any bubbles here.
