Not sure if I am missing something here or what..

Once I create the PDF, I can not "save" a copy to my computer without having to use Adobe Acrobat 9 or Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro..

It is making me go directly to the Adobe PDF Pack software..

I'm no IT guru, but it sounds as if your computer is locked into "save in Acrobat" mode. You should try downloading the free Primo software package. Once installed, hit "save" and check the drop down menu, where Primo should be listed as an alternative to Acrobat.

Another way of getting around Acrobat is to go to "print" instead of "save". Again, a list of printer options should include Primo (after you have installed their software).

Not pretty.. Ended up with a bunch of crap loaded with viruses that had to uninstall ..

I used the Primo site.. http://www.primopdf.com/

That's strange. Our office IT guy recommended it to me, and mine works fine.
Go to Nitro PDF / Primo.
Primo is a free subsidiary brand of Nitro PDF Professional.

I just opened your link, and I'm not getting the pop-up ads.  Huh

I just did a little search on Google and there is a history of mail ware viruses associated with the site..  Apparently they last checked their site and cleaned for viruses Feb 2014...

Looks like they need to clean it up again...

I went ahead and downloaded the Acrobat 9...

Playing with it now...

Sorry Tom... Guess am not going to be able to create an ebook with the info you asked for...

The 10.00 a month did not include being able to create pdf files..  They want another 21.00 a month for that feature..

Not going to do it...

It may not be as nice as an ebook, but will create a simple Photobucket, page by page album..  Will do tomorrow..  Smiley

This is probably the last poems book that will buy for a while... Remembering that I have to go through and visually compare a poem script from the bottle to the scripts/poems within these books, having upwards of 1000 poems total between these past few books to compare from, figure if I can not find it on my own after thumbing through these few books, will ask for help on forum !  Cheesy

I have read many really beautiful poems within these past few book purchases...

Another real nice reference !

Chinese Poetry, An Anthology Of Major Modes and Genres, Wai-lim Yip, Duke Press, 1997. 355 pages, and guessing there must be about 300 poems translated.

An impressive looking book George.

I would be particularly interested in reading the section 'The Art of Poetry Translation'.

Here ya go Tom... Sorry for the rather poor presentation and the few time/date stamps..

Many thanks George!
Looks almost as good as ISSUU to me...  Cheesy

It sounds like Adobe is trying to milk their subscribers for the Acrobat software. Our office IT guy says it is now provided "free" with all newer 'Windows' packages. So I guess they are still tapping whoever they can.

And The Poetry of the Early Tang.. 455 pages, and an exceptional book.. ...
