One other thing I've noticed (which may or may not be related to the notification problem) is that when I enlarge photo attachments on posts, it does not register. Up until end of last month, if I clicked on a JPG image to have a better look, it always clocked up as viewed one more time. Now when I make this action, it remains 'invisible'. 

Yes, I tried the exact same thing, and no difference for me either..  This is really starting to drive me nuts !

I am still in hopes of some additional tech help...  Crossing my fingers..

Also... As for the pic issue... Yet another forum mystery I can not explain !  Huh
