Hi, what do you think of this bottle?

A poem by Li Bai on the reverse.  Painted in 1966 I think.  Bottle appears to be old aged.

Can someone make out who the artist is please?

Cheers,

Curt

Thanks George.

Hope that Charll sees this thread and share with us his bottles painted by this artist 吴建柱.  I Googled and learnt that he is a grand master of the Lu (鲁  )school.  The bottle is dated 1966, which means he painted this bottle when he was 20/21...definitely one of his very early works

haha...I would not mind anyone interested in this bottle sending me a message with an offer price.....

Yes, its mold,  I spotted it when the first time I saw it.

Those mold appear on 60s-70s Shandong bottle a lot, good thing is that mold is not that much, and most of it on the unpainted area,  Curt might gently clean it up by using the cotton stick.

When you cleaned mine Steven, did you actually use the q-tip over the spots ?   If we try to clean/remove the mold from any painted areas, if successful would it not leave a clear spot due to the removal of the paint beneath the mold ?

Guess I thought that the mold actually attacks and replaces the paint with mold..
