I don't think there's anything wrong with my eyes, it's their lack of comprehension that is clear for all others to see!

Glad you like the bottle Luke, and Pat, thanks for weighing in.  I've been to Bill's site and thought most of the older shandong bottles were dated by color and/ or enamel reds and blacks, so I didn't give it much thought, but I am glad to be able to at least identify the shape. 

One question I still have is about the process for making this bottle:  Is it blown and is the overlay applied?
