     Vaughan posted a technique on the forum for repairing nicks on stone bottles. May be worth checking to see if you can fix it.

Thanks Tom.. Found it.. Now curious if the Araldite Crystal Clear epoxy can be dyed to match..

I would imagine that black is one of the easiest pigments to mix in with the glue. But let's hear from our resident expert in Newport. Giovanni may also have some repair advice.

By the way, I couldn't help noticing that great slab of stone used in your photo display. Curious to know what stone it is. Looks like a deep mottled green jade with russet 'skin'. It's a beauty.

    If you ever want to part with it, let me know. I've been looking for a large junk of natural jade. You'd think Bangkok would have lots, but not so.
