Hi  All

Can  anyone  please  help me  identify  this artist   from the  script  ( see   the  two  attachments)?

I bought the  bottle  in 2009  and  I believe  it  originally came  from Hengshui

Many thanks

Cheers Peter

Hi Steven

Many thanks.  When I  bought  the bottle   I was  told    that it  was  by  Song Shi 松 石

The  question  is   whether  it's   by THE  Song Shi  松石 =  Jiang Hongliang  ( please  check my  DB )

JHL  usually signs  his  name somewhat  more  clearly  than  this

Cheers
Peter

Hi Peter,

Its really hard for me to tell if the bottle was by Jiang Hongliang or not only based on two images,  I will say the calligraphy looks similar with jiang's , but if I only judge the bottle from the seal, the bottle is not a high end bottle, the seal was done kind of careless, normally you will see a precise seal was done when the bottle is well done. and I see a " wang" on a seal, it could be associated with artist's last name, I am not 100% sure, but I will have to say, that is much chance that bottle was not by Jiang.

Hi Steven

Thanks for the  feedback

That's  also  my  opinion

Or  if  it  was  by  JHL it  was a   practice bottle  sold off  cheaply

Cheers
