Indeed   yes  - it's  a  steal  at  US$100. This  book  is   essential   for  any serious  MIPB collector.

In fact   I have  scanned  both the  Chinese  and   English  versions   at  high-res  and the  scans  are  in my  data  base   categorized by  artist,  but there's  no  substitute  for the   book  itself

( small  warning  - the  photography  of the bottles in the  book  is  not  up to modern  standards)

Bill  also   has  few  brand-new copies  of   CIPMA  which he is  holding  in trust for me, ready to sell to  any  interested   collectors.

Check out  Bill's  website and  go to the  "for sale" section  - there's  also  some nice  bottles  there

Cheers
Peter

Peter,
Is this the 2006  CIPMA  or the newer version I heard is coming out?  I have a few extra copies of the 2006 book, both here in Israel, and in Ireland, which I bought at the time from David Osborne.
Best,
   Joey

I just checked the "for sale" section of his website. He also has a copy of Bob Stevens' book at $100, and several old isuues of Snuff Bottle Collector at $10 each.

All very reasonable prices.

Hi Joey, All

It's the  2006  CIPMA at  Bill  Patrick.

For  the  new   2012  "CIPMA" - actually  called  "Chinese  Inside  Painting  Art  of the  Ji School"  I guess we can get    some  spare  copies when  we  go to Xian  in 2014.   I only have  one  copy  of this   new book and I have  not  yet  scanned  it . It  is  300  pages  and  weighs   5 lb ( ! )  -  so no  joke  to   carry  and  expensive to   ship

Cheers

Tom

That was a (rare indeed..) spelling/typing error from Joey.   Grin This goes down in Forum history books.  He meant CIPMA (Chinese Inside Painting in the Modern Age).

No, Tom. Pat is right. I meant CIPMA!  Embarrassed
Mea Culpa, Mea Culpa, Mea Maxima Culpa!   Roll Eyes
I've corrected my mistake. The 'modify' choice is wonderful.  Wink
