    It looks like some kind of clay or pottery. Whether fired or not, I can't tell.

   I wasn't sure whether it was pottery or stone, but latched onto the word "molded" as a sign it was pottery (since we can't exactly 'mold' stone!). But then I thought that possibly the person writing the description accidentally mis-used the word "molded".
