I am new to snuff bottles, I found them online and just fell in love with them. I love artistic things. I really don't know what I am doing yet but as for now I buy what catches my eye. I have been reading the posts on this site and learning. I like to keep my eyes open for little gems. I look over the auctions every night to see if anything interests me. I love the inside painted bottles the most. I watch for them in publications, items for sale, ect..

My Husband is an Electrician and at the moment our job is in Victoria Texas. My collection is small and growing. I have found out that these bottles are like potato chips you can't have just one...LOL  I found this site and there is so much to learn. At first I just bought a few cheap bottles on eBay but now I am more selective. I am slowly learning what to look for.

Welcome to the forum. That is just the coolest quote I've come across yet to describe snuff bottle collecting!

You have definitely found the right place to interact with other 'addicts'. We are scattered around in different parts of the world, but all come together on the forum. I live in Bangkok.

Welcome to the Forum ! Here on the Forum, we exchange tips, observations, and collection experiences  -  something I did not have access to when I started collecting SB in the early 90's.
In Singapore, we say that I spent much " tuition fees " in my early days. Enjoy the subject matters and the materials you like and don't think of investment first.
